At the Sittings of the NA Standing Committees

On April 21 the NA Standing Committees convened sittings.

At April 21 next sitting the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan debated the RA draft law in the first reading “On Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code.”

The draft law with the endorsement was included in the draft laws of the agendas of the seventh session of the NA fifth convocation and the upcoming four-day sittings.

The debate of the second draft law “On Amending the RA Civil Procedure Code” of the agenda was postponed by the authors’ proposal up to one year.

The NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Mikayel Melkumyan in the first reading considered the legislative package “On Amending the RA Law on Precious Metals,” “On Amending the RA Law on Licensing,” “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty,” “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements,” which submitted the Director of the State Institution of the Program Implementation Office the ‘National Center for Regulation and Legislation’ of the governmental staff Armen Yeghiazaryan.

Armen Yeghiazaryan submitted the package of the bills “On Amending the RA Law on Trade and Services,” “On Amending the RA Law on Licensing,” On Amending the RA Law on State Duty,” “On Amending the RA Law on Taxes,” “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements” and it was considered in the first reading.

The NA deputy Mikayel Melkumyan submitted for debate in the first reading the package of bills “On Amending the RA Law on Turnover Tax,” and “On Amending the RA Law on Taxes.”

The RA Deputy Minister of Finance Vakhtang Mirumyan has noted that the government considered the adoption of the draft laws non-expedient.

As a result of debates, the Committee endorsed the three legislative packages for including them in the draft laws of the agendas of the session and the upcoming four-day sittings.
